National Stuttering Association - Denver, Colorado Chapter Our purpose is to provide a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for people to learn more about stuttering!

The National Stuttering Association (NSA) is a non-profit organization that provides support, friendship, and information to the stuttering community, instilling the sense of self-worth so often missing in the lives of those who battle this condition. With over 100 self-help/support groups for children and adults throughout the United States, the NSA:

• provides information about stuttering

• in

creases public awareness of stuttering

• serves as a support and advocacy group

• is a referral organization for speech therapy resources throughout the United States. The Denver Chapter support group provides a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for people to learn more about stuttering! Research has shown that local support groups are a proven way to build self-confidence, practice speaking in a safe environment, and explore new ways to cope with stuttering. Chapter meetings are open to adults who stutter, parents/significant others/friends of people who stutter, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), graduate students, and anyone who wants to learn more about stuttering.
