Who we are, and what we do.

Healing the Children Rocky Mountains (HTCRM) is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to helping children all over the world who are in need of specialized medical and surgical care for cleft lip, cleft palate, and deafness. Due to the lack of medical and financial resources, the present and future can be bleak for millions of children. Our passion is to change the lives and futures of all patients and families who come to us for the healing they so desperately need. Healing the Children Rocky Mountains is a 100% volunteer organization. We are a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. There are no paid staff and all services provided are possible through the generous donations of time, money, and skills. This includes our medical teams who donate their vacation time and often pay for all of their own expenses to provide free care to children.

Just 2 weeks ago we returned from our 7th medical mission to Lima, Peru. We were able to help over 400 children - 123 surgeries (100 cleft surgeries and 23 pediatric eye surgeries), 82 pediatric hearing aids fit, 168 eyeglasses were distributed to local school children, 20 dental procedures were done and 132 session of speech therapy were conducted. No paid staff, everyone pays their own way. All donations go directly towards helping the children.
