The Dog House Denver is busy decorating their space for what could be the best Halloween event in Denver this season—a haunted doghouse! Owners can take their pups through the fully-decorated facility one at a time so it won’t be crowded. And don’t worry, it won’t actually be scary for dogs, but they’ll be incorporating funny stops along the way, like a spooky groomer section (optional) and tricks for treats. There will also be a pumpkin patch and plenty of other fun surprises. Tickets are $30 per dog. And please, please dress your dog in a costume!

Soil cell work is underway! A soil cell is an underground structure filled with loose, nutrient-dense soil. It lets tree roots grow freely without being crushed by pavement above and prevents sidewalks from being damaged by roots with nowhere to go.

Over 50 new drought-resistant trees will be planted in the area (during planting season), adding curb appeal and more shade in the summer months. This will make the area much greener and more inviting! 🌳
