What is GroovaRoo?
In 2015, we happened to see a couple dancing salsa while babywearing on YouTube and imagined what it would look like if we married our two life’s “passions” together: babywearing (Amber is a babywearing educator and doula) and soul line dancing (Meeshi is a dance teacher who loves soul music). The Result: GroovaRoo Dance™. We are happy parents of a baby boy and have been enjoying our life as a new family. For us, babywearing dance is a just small part of our greater life’s mission: to build communities of families around the world where dance is an integral part of everyday life. Our mission is to build interactive parent-child dance communities where parents can dance with their kids and other love-minded families through the whole of their childhoods: pre-natal, infant/baby, toddler/preschooler, school age, and adolescent/teenagers.
