As we drive toward curing type 1 diabetes, we help make everyday life better for the people who face it. We are Breakthrough T1D.

JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D. Over $8,000 raised in Sarah’s memory! 💙

Sarah Lems rode 17 100-mile rides for Breakthrough T1D and raised more than $100,000 to help drive toward cures. On Saturday, September 26th friends and family keep that commitment on the road.

The 3rd annual Sarah Lems Memorial Ride to Cure Type 1 Diabetes, hosted by Boulder DIVAS Cycling, brought 28 riders together under a beautiful Colorado autumn sky. Together, they raised more than $8,000 for Breakthrough T1D, and the support keeps growing.

THANK YOU to Greg and the Lems family, Sarah’s DIVAS teammates, and every rider and donor for honoring Sarah this way. Her legacy lives on in every mile!

🏅 T1D Champions Parade lineup at 10 a.m., parade at 10:15 a.m.

2. Come visit our Wagner Newly Diagnosed, Advocacy, and T1D Support & Resources Tents to meet our team, ask questions, pick up your T1D identifier, or your first-time Walker sticker! 💙✨🚜

3. Don't forget the T1D Parade! The Walk site opens at 9 AM, so you can grab a snack, and soak in the day before we gather to the left of the stage at 10 AM.

Breakthrough T1D Children’s Congress provides approximately 160 youth with T1D the opportunity to share their stories with Congress and urge them to continue to fund critical T1D research and support policies that are meaningful to the T1D community.
