Calling all artists! Join the next Artists as First Responders (A1R) Cohort by becoming certified in Mental Health First Aid: equipping artists with tools to support healing, respond to community needs, and lead with care through creative expression.

About Artists as First Responders
The Artist as First Responder course is a structured certification program designed to train artists in providing specialized care and support with art during and after disasters, emergencies, and crises. Through a series of modules, artists will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to serve as designated care providers working alongside traditional emergency responders.

You’ll Learn
✔ A 5-step action plan to help someone in crisis
✔ Mental health & substance use awareness
✔ Local resources and how to connect people to support
