Thank you to those of you who supported and participated in our 5K Fundraiser (from both near and far away). VIA was the top fundraiser of all the charities represented, raising over $8,000!

Paul is a volunteer in our Caring Connections program. Here is Paul's story:

"I had volunteered here and there for this or that but never thought of volunteering along these lines. I volunteer at the church but for building and ground maintenance. I also am the president of our HOA, a thankless, never-ending job that makes me question my sanity in ever taking this type of position. Supposedly, we get wiser as we get older. I’m not sure about the wiser but being able to see and appreciate how God works is one of the best parts of the aging process. I know how much our weekly visits together mean to Paul, but I’m not sure I have come to realize the impact it is having on myself." - Paul
