Nominations are now open for the 2026 Mountain West Country Music Awards, and we want to make sure every eligible member has the opportunity to be considered!

📀 Song of the Year Eligibility: Must have been released between June 15, 2025 and June 15, 2026 by an active MWCMA member or member band.

🌟 Rising Star Award: Open to any active MWCMA member who is under the age of 30.

🏢 Venue of the Year: Be sure to review the list of active MWCMA Industry Members provided in the voting form. Only current, active MWCMA member venues are eligible for nomination.

🤝 Industry Members & Venues: Feel free to introduce yourselves in the comments as well so members can easily identify eligible businesses, venues, and industry professionals when voting.

This post is designed to be a community reference point throughout the nomination period. We want to make sure no deserving member, band, venue, musician, industry professional, song, or album is overlooked simply because someone forgot a name.

🎶🏆 MWCMA AWARDS NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! 🏆🎶

The nomination voting round for the 2026 Mountain West Country Music Awards begins TODAY!

From now through August 15, MWCMA members can submit their nominations for this year’s awards. After nominations close, the Top 5 nominees in each category will advance to the final voting round, which will take place August 16 – September 15.

The winners will be determined by MWCMA member voting, with the exception of the Unsung Hero Award, which is selected by the MWCMA Board of Directors from submitted nominations.

📧 An email is being sent to all current MWCMA members now with the official voting link.

This is your opportunity to help recognize the artists, musicians, venues, songs, albums, and industry professionals who have made an impact on the Mountain West country music scene over the past year.
