One of the easiest traps for leaders to fall into is believing everything depends on them.

The business.
The team.
The decisions.
The outcomes.

So we carry the pressure. We overthink. We try to solve every problem ourselves.

But leadership was never meant to be carried alone.

Sometimes the greatest act of leadership isn't doing more.

It's surrendering more.

Tomorrow's Weekly Leadership Insight explores a question that has challenged me more than once:

What burden am I carrying that God never asked me to carry?

Failure humbles us. Success is trickier.

Success can quietly convince us we've got this, that we no longer need to lean on God the way we once did.

"I can handle this."

"I know what works."

"I'll pray after I solve it."

Little by little, dependence on God gets traded for dependence on performance.

This Friday, I'm sharing a deeper reflection on what may be the most dangerous season a leader can face: success without surrender.

Tomorrow, the journey begins.

The first edition of Thou Shall Grow: Weekly Leadership Insights goes out tomorrow.

This new weekly email series is for Christian business leaders who want more than business growth. They want leadership aligned with God’s design.

The heart of tomorrow’s first reflection is simple:

You were not created merely to sustain success. You were created to grow with God.

And real growth begins when faith, leadership, and business come back into alignment.

Many leaders assume growth requires more effort, more hours, more pressure, and more strategy.

But for Christian business leaders, the real constraint is often misalignment, when faith, leadership, and business are no longer moving in the same direction.

Growth becomes clearer and lighter when leadership is aligned with God’s design.

This Friday, I’m launching Thou Shall Grow: Weekly Leadership Insights, a weekly email series of short reflections for Christian business leaders seeking biblical wisdom, business clarity, and purposeful leadership growth.

I had the honor of attending the annual GROW Conference with Kingdom Entrepreneurs this past weekend not only as a speaker, but as a participant.

For two days, the room was filled with Christian business leaders pursuing growth, stewardship, and leadership that stays aligned with their faith.

The conversations carried depth. The worship carried weight. And the connections formed throughout the weekend were a powerful reminder that Kingdom leadership was never meant to happen in isolation.

I’m incredibly grateful to the entire KEBN team for the invitation to speak and for the excellence, intentionality, and faithfulness that went into hosting such an impactful event. Thank you for creating space for entrepreneurs and leaders to gather, sharpen one another, and be reminded of what truly matters.

To every business owner, founder, and leader I had the opportunity to meet — thank you for showing up with vision, conviction, and a desire to build something that honors God.

Excited to see what God continues to do through every person who was in the room.

rowth doesn’t come from pushing harder.

It comes from alignment.

When everything is pulling in the same direction, business, leadership, and what you believe, things start to move the way they should.

If it feels harder than it needs to, that’s usually the signal.

There’s a point in leadership where information isn’t the problem.

You already know enough.
You’ve read the books.
You’ve built something real.

What you need is the right room.

The right conversations.
The right leaders.
The kind of challenge that sharpens how you think and how you lead.

That’s what the Kingdom Entrepreneurs Business Conference 2026 is about.

Two days in Denver with founders and leaders who are serious about building with alignment, not just momentum.

This isn’t surface-level content.

It’s about how you lead, how you build, and what your business ultimately produces.

I’ll be there speaking.

If you’re serious about growth that actually lasts, be in the room.

Strong companies don’t just grow revenue.

They build people.
They build culture.
They build leadership.

That kind of company doesn’t happen by accident.

It’s built through aligned leadership over time.

If you’re building something that matters, clarity becomes critical.

Built for leaders who don’t have time to sit and read but still want clarity on how to grow without losing alignment.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of leadership, this will help you see what needs to shift.

Listen while you drive. Walk. Think.

Clarity doesn’t have to wait.
