Rooted in Love Birth Doula I provide birth doula services for a very low cost to women who want or need physical or emotional support during birth.

I am just beginning my practice as a birth doula. It is so deeply exciting to begin this work, to which my heart has been called for so long. A little about me:

I have spent my life up until now working with children, first as a nanny for baby triplets, and then as a teacher for newcomer refugee children. I speak English, some Spanish, some Portuguese, and some Arabic and love communicating in a

ny of these languages! I am in the process of getting certified as a birth doula. I have finished the required coursework, and am now interested in attending births to complete my certification. For this reason, and because I truly believe in the importance of what doulas bring to birth, I am offering my services for $50. This includes:
-A free interview session where we decide if we are a good fit
-Two pre-natal visits, during which we talk about you and your partner's desires regarding your birth experience
-Henna art on your belly (or anywhere) at or around 8 months of pregnancy
-Attendance during your entire labor and birth
-Two post-partum visits to provide further support

Why should you choose me as your doula?

-I am a calm, patient, and empathetic person who will strive to give you everything you need before, during, and after your birth.

-My fees are very reasonable.

-You would be helping me to get certified.
