Continuing our day 2 activities! Our athletes had the opportunity to participate in tandem biking, thanks to the incredible support of Kasey and Erin. Riding together gave athletes a chance to build confidence, teamwork, and enjoy the beautiful Colorado scenery.

The fun continued with a spirited game of beep kickball, where athletes used their listening skills and teamwork to compete and have a blast. We wrapped up the evening with an ice cream social, giving everyone a chance to relax, connect, and celebrate another amazing day at camp.

Thank you to everyone who helps make these experiences possible for our athletes. We can't wait for tomorrow!

🌊 Camp Abilities Colorado had an amazing day 2!!

This morning, our athletes headed to Highline Lake for an unforgettable paddleboarding adventure. From trying something new to building confidence on the water, our campers are embracing every challenge and making incredible memories along the way.

A huge THANK YOU to Colorado Discover Ability for helping make this experience possible. Your support provides opportunities for our athletes to explore the outdoors, develop new skills, and discover what they are capable of achieving.

Day 1 of Camp Abilities Colorado was a huge success! 🎉 Thank you to our amazing donors and sponsors for helping us make this possible!

Our athletes jumped right into the adventure today with rock climbing, soccer, a campfire complete with delicious s'mores, and even an all-camp dance for those who wanted to show off their moves! 🧗⚽🔥🍫💃

A special thank you to Kasey for spending time with our athletes and providing a wonderful guide dog demonstration. Athletes had the opportunity to learn about the important role guide dogs play in promoting independence and mobility, and they loved meeting Kaci's guide dog! 🦮❤️

It was incredible to see new friendships forming, confidence growing, and smiles everywhere we looked. We can't wait to see what the rest of the week has in store!

Camp Abilities Colorado is off to a great start! 🎉
Today our athletes had the opportunity to explore campus through a fun scavenger hunt while getting familiar with their surroundings. Along the way, they began building connections with their counselors and fellow athletes, creating new friendships and memories from day one. 💙💛

Today, some of our amazing staff and volunteers gathered for team building and a chance to get to know one another before our athletes arrive. Their energy, dedication, and passion for creating an unforgettable experience are already shining through.

We can't wait to welcome our athletes tomorrow and kick off a week filled with adventure, friendship, confidence-building, and fun. From paddle boarding and hiking to goalball, swimming, rock climbing, and more, it's going to be an incredible week!

☀️ Camp Starts Tomorrow! ☀️

The countdown is finally over! Camp Abilities Colorado begins tomorrow, and we couldn't be more excited.

Today, some of our amazing staff and volunteers are arriving early for team building, final preparations, and getting everything ready for an incredible week of adventure, sports, and fun!

One thing everyone should know: it's going to be HOT this week! 🥵 With temperatures expected to reach the upper 90s and even over 100° on some days, we want all athletes and staff to come prepared.

✅ Bring a refillable water bottle
✅ Pack sunscreen
✅ Wear a hat and lightweight clothing
✅ Bring a swimsuit and towel for pool day
✅ Be ready to stay hydrated and have fun!

We're looking forward to an unforgettable week of paddle boarding, hiking, goalball, swimming, rock climbing, and making lifelong memories with an amazing group of athletes.

🏅 Camp Abilities Colorado begins on Tuesday, and we couldn't be more excited!

As we count down the final days until camp, we're highlighting another incredible opportunity our athletes will experience this week—Goalball!

Goalball is a fast-paced Paralympic sport designed specifically for athletes who are blind or visually impaired. Our athletes will have the chance to learn the fundamentals of Goalball, develop new skills, build confidence, and experience the excitement of competition alongside other sports and activities throughout camp.

Another exciting Camp Abilities Colorado adventure is just around the corner! ☀️💦

Next week, our athletes will enjoy an afternoon of fun in the sun at Lincoln Park Moyer Pool! From diving boards and water slides to the splash park, there will be plenty of opportunities to cool off, have fun, and make great memories with friends.

Whether they're making a splash in the pool, racing down a slide, or enjoying time with fellow campers, this is sure to be one of the highlights of the week!

We can't wait to see the smiles, laughter, and excitement as our athletes dive into another unforgettable Camp Abilities Colorado experience. Less than one week to go! 🌊😎🏊‍♀️

The countdown is on—just ONE more week until Camp Abilities Colorado! 🎉

In addition to all the exciting adventures we've been sharing, including rock climbing, paddle boarding, and hiking, our athletes will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports activities such as golf, soccer, beep baseball, beep kickball, goalball, and disc golf. ⚽⛳🥏⚾

Our sports-based summer camp is designed to help athletes develop new skills, build confidence, foster independence, and create lasting friendships—all in a fun, supportive, and meaningful environment.

What a fun day at the Kiwanis Pancake Day and Fun Fest! ☀️🥞🎉

Camp Abilities Colorado had a wonderful time hosting a booth, enjoying the beautiful weather, connecting with the community, and taking part in all the exciting activities. It was great to see so many smiling faces and share information about our program.
