Sunshine Home Share Colorado We are a Denver nonprofit supporting older adults safely find a housemate. and companionship for affordable rent.

Home sharing creates a mutually beneficial relationship, exchanging supportive services (lawn mowing, household chores, etc.) We also offer a program called Financial Wellness & Empowerment that supports older adults who are low to moderate income to work on better financial health. This may include goal setting support with budgeting, education on scams fraud, workforce resources, and information and referral.

Last week we had our annual fundraiser and launch party for our new supported home share program online! We saw many familiar faces that have supported and been apart of Sunshine since its inception. Thank you for attending and continuing to support our mission! 🩵💛🎉

Cheryl, a Home Provider that home shares through Sunshine said it best, we are a "village", a home sharing village of support! 🏠

Thank you to our funders Stinson LLP, Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA), Academy Bank, AARP Colorado, Sarah Caruso Loveday Caruso Wealth Management Group, Ameriprise Financial, SmartMatchApp, Choice Screening; who supported us raise $22,000!

A special thank you to Senior Planet Denver for hosting us in their beautiful space and being an aging partner in our community.

And we were so happy to have our event catered by R Bazaar, who honors the journey of refugee and immigrant artisans by showcasing their food and supporting entrepreneurship.
