Cultural immersion is an important part of development, and will continue to increase in importance as the global culture changes. Children who are immersed in a variety of cultural and linguistic programs will benefit from better social and learning skills later in life.

Exposing a young adult to different cultures and lifestyles can help them reassess their own life and priorities. Studies show moving anyone from a known environment to the unknown also helps mental health. Overall helps with growth and understanding those that are not like you.
