Does anyone know of a litter that will be around 8 weeks on the 20th of July? This is not looking for a puppy, but rather a commercial job

Lymphoma is one of the most common cancers in golden retrievers – often striking in the prime of life. Once cancer is diagnosed, treatment is often difficult and expensive, and survival time limited. Imagine if a routine blood test could identify your dog’s risk of developing lymphoma before cancer tumors exist, and there was a safe, cost-effective treatment to prevent or delay it.

I am working with the AKC Canine Health Foundation to raise $500,000 for a new research initiative with the goal of preventing lymphoma and improving treatment if it develops. The research will be led by Dr. Jaime Modiano, VMD, PhD, Director, Animal Cancer Care and Research Program, University of Minnesota. www.modianolab.org This unique research to delay or prevent lymphoma before it starts will completely transform outcomes for this disease.

Please donate at www.akcchf.org/Teddy 100% of your gift will fund cutting-edge research that will make a difference in the lives of millions of dogs. Donate today to get this research started!

Are you looking for a reputably and purposefully bred Golden Retriever puppy?

All members on our approved breeders list do health screenings on the parents of each litter.

Please get to know your breeder and do your homework. You will hopefully have a long relationship with them. A Golden Retriever puppy is a lifetime commitment.
If you have any questions or need assistance please contact any of our members for assistance.

Reputable breeders waiting lists are completely full right now. There is an unprecedented number of requests for puppies. We are fielding between 20 and 30 a day. If you truly want a healthy puppy from a good breeder please be patient.
Once a breeding happens it is 63 days until the puppies are born and 8 weeks until they are ready to come home. Females heat cycles vary between 6-14 months. Sometimes you have to wait other times breeders have a puppy available right away. The key to getting a puppy from a reputable breeder is patience.

Both parents at minimum should have have passing scores on Hips and Elbows from the OFA.
Heart exams auscultation and/or Echo are done by a veterinary cardiologist.
Eyes should be done every year by a veterinary ophthalmologist. Genetic testing such as prcd-PRA, GR-PRA1, GR-PRA2, Ichthyosis, & NCL may also be performed but are not a requirement.
Every breeder should be knowledgeable about these tests and provide links or copies of the tests for OFA. Hips and elbows will ALWAYS be listed on OFA. If they are not there they do not exist.
Some breeders send in Eyes and Heart exams some do not, but they should be able to provide you with copies of the passing clearance.
OFA does not certify dogs!!! They only present dogs with passing hip and elbows with certificates. Passing grades are Excellent, Good, and Fair. Elbows are passing or failing only. OFA automatically puts passing grades on their website within a month of the films being read.

Please be patient with breeders there has been an overwhelming request for reputably bred puppies. You may not hear back from them for several weeks. They are trying to keep up with replies.
