Denver Children's Advocacy Center

Denver Children's Advocacy Center PREVENT ABUSE - STRENGTHEN FAMILIES - RESTORE CHILDHOOD Our mission is to Prevent Abuse, Strengthen Families and Restore Childhood.

We accomplish our mission with integrated, research-based programming, a dedicated professional staff and volunteer board, the support of countless community partners, and individuals like you who understand the importance of our work. DCAC’s programs fall along a continuum of care that includes prevention, early childhood intervention, crisis response, forensic interviews, mental health treatment

, and family support services. Children and families access the services they need at any point in the continuum. We serve children in their homes, their schools and early learning centers, through telehealth, and at our child-friendly campus on Federal Boulevard. Understanding the many challenges our families face (for example: lack of transportation, distance, time) DCAC decided to offer services at various satellite offices in 2015 as well. You can learn more about the work we are doing on our website at www.denvercac.org.

💙Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, heard, and valued.

On International Children's Day, we celebrate the unique strengths, dreams, and voices of children everywhere. We also recognize our shared responsibility to protect children and ensure they have the support they need to heal, grow, and thrive.

Thank you to our community of supporters, partners, and advocates who help make that possible every day.

Because every child deserves hope, healing, and a future full of possibilities.

When Brittany's daughter disclosed sexual abuse, their family entered a world of investigations, uncertainty, and fear.

What they found at Denver Children's Advocacy Center was support, compassion, and hope.

Brittany recently shared her family's powerful story at Swing for Hope. Her words are a reminder that healing is possible when families don't have to face trauma alone.

Healing doesn't always look the same.

Sometimes it begins with courage to tell your story.
Sometimes it's a child finding their confidence in therapy.
Sometimes it's practical support through DCAC’s Family Market.
And sometimes it's a community that simply shows up.

Every month, we share stories of healing, resilience, and impact from families, staff, and supporters.
