Sense of Security Sense of Security provides financial assistance to Colorado breast cancer patients in treatment.

Sense of Security has provided more than $2.2 million toward housing, utilities, groceries, transportation, insurance premiums, and other basic living expenses of breast cancer patients in treatment. We have assisted more than 2,200 Coloradans living with breast cancer in 54 counties statewide - and counting!

75% of the assistance we have provided has been for housing assistance and groceries. Th

ese basic needs have been the top requests from breast cancer patients throughout Sense of Security's existence.

Jim Berz, a dear friend of Sense of Security, whom many of you met at our fall fundraisers over the years, passed away on December 30.
We fondly remember Jim and thank him for the years of fun and entertainment he brought to our events. There are few like him in the world and he will be sorely missed.
A Memorial Fund has been established to help his children. If you can find it in your hearts to help them in this dark time, it would be appreciated.
May his memory be a blessing to those who knew and loved him.

GOAL High School Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign is holding their annual Domino's Pizza fundraising event today and 5% of total sales will be donated to Sense of Security to help grantees in southern Colorado.
