Youth do not need a prior learning or anxiety diagnoses, and they can be in other services at the same time. The study occurs in person at DU.

Research Study for Youth Ages 6-17.

Parents: we are looking for youth ages 6-17 who currently experience learning difficulties AND often feel anxious, nervous, stressed, or worried to participate in a research study! Youth do not need to have previously been diagnosed with a Specific Learning Disorder or an anxiety disorder. This research study tests whether a previously developed and tested therapy for youth who feel anxious/stressed might also help youth with learning difficulties manage feelings of anxiety and stress. Youth and their parents/caregivers will participate in a therapy group that meets 1.5 hours per week for eight weeks at the University of Denver. Eligible families who participate will be compensated.
