We hope you can come to our Community Meeting/Discussion about the ideas discussed in the movie, "Left Behind," DenCoKID and our partners screened in Denver last week. More than 50 people joined us at the Sie Center to watch this film.

Wednesday night, October 15, at 7:30 Rachel Arnold, CALT, C-SLDS and President of the International Dyslexia Association Rocky Mountain Branch will be leading a conversation with those interested in education for people with dyslexia based on the ideas presented in the film (opening a school specifically for students diagnosed with dyslexia). You can attend even if you haven't seen the film!

Each dyslexic has a different pattern of strengths and challenges. We score extremely highly in some things - often in the top percentiles. But in the areas we find challenging, we score very low - often in the bottom percentiles. We call this our 'spiky profile'.

That's why it's vital, in the workplace, that we focus on our strengths - the things that we're naturally good at - and delegate our challenges.

Find out how to empower your at work, and learn to advocate for what you need to thrive, with our FREE 1 hour training on LinkedIn Learning.
