On November 1 from 8:30 to 9:30, Metro Volunteer Lawyers and Faegre Baker Daniels are sponsoring a free Pro Bono Ethics breakfast at Faegre’s offices. April McMurrey from the Office of Attorney Regulation will discuss ethical issues that arise in doing pro bono work. It’s worth 1 ethics CLE credit.

Going pro se can be a daunting task! At the we assist with helping litigants to properly articulate their claims.

Ndidi Moses, president of the Connecticut Bar Association, told the Connecticut Law Tribune Friday, “It’s crucial to help pro se people. It puts a strain on the judicial branch and it’s an access-to-justice issue as you want to make sure people can articulate legal claims properly. It’s also an efficiency issue as you want courts to be moving so there is not a backlog.”
