Hello Colorado Nova Nation,
For those of you who did not receive yesterday's email, posting here as well, as we are looking for new local leadership.
I (Jonathan Kent) am reaching out to inform you that I am hanging my hat of my presidential duties of leading the regional club after 8 wonderful and memorable years. Not only did we celebrate 2 national championships plus an additional Final Four together, but shared so many great events with each other, like the Hike n Brew, Yoga in the Park, Fall Festival, and St Thomas Day of Service. I have met so many of you and became good friends with you in the process. But my time has come and I look forward to see the direction my predecessor takes the group and their engagement with alumni and other Villanovans. Thank you to all of you who welcomed me after I graduated and moved back to Colorado by bringing me into the fold, especially Meghan Muniz and Brian Beck, and the countless many of you who volunteered alongside me, especially Sean McIntosh, throughout the years to plan events, cheer on our Wildcats, and welcome other new Villanovans. It has been the greatest honor and pleasure serving Colorado's Villanovans and supporting the University. I look forward to seeing you at future alumni events as I will continue to stay active but as a participant.
That said, we are looking for any volunteers from our amazing alumni base or family members/friends (i.e. parents) who would like to take on the President role of the Colorado Club or even additional folks wanting to join our local Leadership Board. I can say with plenty of experience, it is an incredible way to meet and network with so many wonderful Villanovans, find a way to stay in touch with the school and dedicate some time to give back. But what is best is making and seeing so many friends, especially throughout the college basketball season. If interested or have questions about the role, please do not hesitate to reach out to Emily Colaric ([email protected]) with the University or myself with any questions or curiosities. Additional details to come on the recruitment process, but if interested please do not wait to reach out.
GO CATS!
