What an epic day on Belle Isle with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Detroit! 3000 kids came through the dome studio for , one class at a time, rockin their matching shirts and dropping heat on the mic!

It just feels so right doing this work in Detroit where so much of the music we love was born. Thank you so much to The Skillman Foundation for supporting this project!

It's our mission to make sure all kids have access to modern music making tools & mentors, and opportunities like this remind us how much people appreciate that we are here putting our all into this access.

We had a great time speaking on public music making, AND making music in public for the Project for Public Spaces !

Great work by Anthony Levy on delivering a talk on our work, and founder Gar Den Boi in freestyling, beatboxing, sampling sounds, & looping with conference folks outside of the The Department at Hudson's & Vicente's Cuban Cuisine.

Props to all our PlacemaKINGS & PlacemaQUEENS around the globe bringing joy to their communities with creative work!

Photos and Conference Connection thanks to Jerin Sage!
