We’re back at the Denver Art Museum for the signature AIGA CO Speaker Series.

This month we welcome Rich Tu (Rich Tu)who will share a working designer’s honest account of a non-traditional career path. As Partner and Executive Creative Director at Sunday Afternoon, Tu has put his creative fingerprint on some of the most visible names in our culture — Nike, MTV, Paramount, HOKA, FIFA World Cup, WNBA — building his career with an approach that defies convention and creates lasting impact.

And then!!!

After his presentation, Tu sits down for a live Q+A moderated by Rick Griffith (Rick Griffith) the creative mind behind MATTER — Denver’s design studio, manufactory, and bookshop — who will guide the post conversation. Audience questions are encouraged, so do a little Rich-search and come ready to participate.

If you are like us - you love the smell of ink, the visual of imprinting on paper and the sound of printing presses.

Join us as we get our hands on real type with Genghis Kern at a letterpress workshop later this month.

Bring a short phrase, desire to play and learn and we will lock it up for some printed posters.

It’s exactly what you want to do on a Friday afternoon. Link in bio to our website to register.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for ‘From Order to Expression’ at the Denver Art Museum. It was a special evening celebrating the history and influence of Swiss design, while remembering the life and legacy of our friend and AIGA Colorado Fellow, Fred Murrell.

We’re also incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up in support of AIGA Colorado as we continue to reconnect, rebuild, and shape what comes next for our design community.

It meant a lot to share the evening with you.

We can’t wait to see you at the next event!

Well, hello there.

How have you been? Good? A bit off? Hanging in there?
We know and are right there with you.

AIGA Colorado's been quiet for a while… the last few years hit everyone in this industry hard, and things are just different these days.

Once upon a time, we hosted Denver/Boulder area creatives almost every month. We missed it.

On August 25, AIGA Colorado is coming back with coffee, gelato, and a room full of energetic creatives who are motivated by dessert.

Former board members will be there, along with a few friends from the Colorado Springs chapter. And the AIGA Design National Board President, Rachel Elnar.

Say yes to your sweet tooth and caffeine needs and come say hi.
