Artemis Sportswomen

Artemis Sportswomen Bold Sportswomen creating Fresh Tracks for Conservation As sportswomen and conservationists we do more than hunt and fish.

We have an obligation to give as well as take and to embody an inclusive culture. The Artemis sportswoman can skin a deer, land a burly brown trout, navigate the backcountry, and she knows her game commissioners and politicians, she knows wildlife laws, defends all wildlife, advocates on their behalf and teaches others these skills. We cannot expect the next generation to enjoy the privilege of ou

r irreplaceable lands, waters and wildlife without our explicit engagement in all facets of the sporting conservation life. Artemis embodies the definition of the complete sportswoman and sees it as our duty to use our platform to promote and teach this philosophy.

Meet Florida ambassador Manda Michaelis! is truly inspiring - she entered hunting as an adult onset hunter and now not only trains her own dogs, she guides AND leads women’s skill building clinics too! She’s a true testament to her “train hard, hunt hard” and “learn and adapt from failure” mindsets 💪🏽 Here’s to building grit together 🙌🏽🧡

When we asked ambassador what she’d like to share on our platform for she suggested these photos of her recent turkey hunting trip in her home state of Illinois with her “city slicker” sister 🦃 her sister had never gone hunting before and wanted to see what it was all about - she walked away so inspired she plans on getting her own tags next season! We can’t think of a better way to rep AAPI women hunters than by getting another one out in the field 🧡 proud of both these ladies!
