Parents who have questions about vaccines are in good company. Most parents who pause before vaccinating aren't necessarily anti-vaccine - they're just trying to make a thoughtful decision for someone they love. That makes sense to us!

That's why we created FACT, an evidence-based, judgment-free, and free resource for parents and caregivers. No jargon, no lectures, no pressure - just clear information, one topic at a time.

Our goal isn't to convince parents of anything — it's to make sure they have real answers to the questions that matter to them, so that whatever they decide, they feel confident.

To sign up, text FACT to 274 448.

October is Audiology Awareness Month. It's a good time to think about your baby's hearing. 💛

Babies learn to talk by listening to the people around them. Watching how your baby reacts to sounds is one way to help them grow.

Every baby grows at their own speed. But if something doesn't feel right, don't wait. Your child's doctor can help, and getting help early makes a big difference.

Lantern's free HEAR messages help families who have questions about hearing for children ages 0 to three.

Text HEAR to 274 448 and share with a new or soon-to-be parent.

Fire Prevention Week is October 4-10. It's a great time to make a fire safety plan with your family. 🚒

Kids learn best by doing. Walk through your home together and find two ways out of each room. Pick a safe spot outside to meet. Then practice!

Here's one more tip: teach your child to "get low and go" under smoke. And once you're outside, stay outside.

Save this post and share it with a family you love. Does your family have a meeting spot? Tell us in the comments. 👇

Some nights, just getting dinner on the table is a win. And that's okay! 🙌

Healthy family meals don't have to be hard or cost a lot. Simple meals can still be good for your family. And when kids help make their own plate, they may be more likely to try something new.

Need new ideas? Lantern's COOK messages share easy, healthy, low-cost recipes the whole family will love.

Counting, sorting, matching, and comparing are the first steps in learning math. And toddlers can practice them anywhere.

You don't need anything special. Just talk about numbers, shapes, and sizes during your day. You can do it while you fold laundry, walk to the car, or share a snack.

These small moments help build skills your child will use in school and beyond.

Where does your family find math in your day? Tell us below!

Raising a child with autism brings big joys and real challenges.

Small things can help your child feel safe and ready for the day: a steady routine, a quiet break, or time to get ready for a change.

Talk about what's next. Tell your child about changes before they happen. Pictures can help show the plan for the day.

Watch for too much noise or light. Loud sounds, bright lights, and crowds can feel like a lot. A quiet break can help.

There are many ways to talk. Words, hand signs, pictures, and actions are all ways children share what they need.

A year ago, we started Lantern's ASD program to give families helpful tips right on their phones. We are so thankful for every family who has joined us.

No parent has to navigate this journey alone. If you know a family who could might benefit from Lantern's ASD program, please pass this along.

Fall doesn't have to mean a packed calendar.

Some of the best family moments are simple ones: collecting leaves, making a snack, reading together, or taking a walk around the neighborhood.

You don't need a special activity to build connection. You just need a little time together.

During Family, Friend and Neighbor Appreciation Week, we're celebrating the caregivers who make a difference in children's lives every day

Whether they provide care every day, once a week, or whenever a family needs an extra hand, FFN caregivers are an important part of the child care landscape.

Thank you for everything you do! 💝

Did, or do you share your language or cultural traditions with your FFN caregiver or children in your care? Do you celebrate cultural holidays or community events with one another?

Share your stories using the hashtag and tag an FFN caregiver you'd like to celebrate.

Sometimes connection gets pushed to the bottom of the parenting to-do list. But it doesn't require a big activity or hours of uninterrupted time.

A few minutes of child-led play, a conversation at bedtime, or simply giving your full attention can help strengthen your relationship.

Lantern's BOND resources give families simple ways to build connection through everyday moments.
