Colorado Mestizo Dancers 2014
The Colorado Mestizo Dancers began in September of 1991 with several interested families with talented children who wanted an avenue to present their children their culture and heritage through the art of Mexican folk dances as well as an opportunity to perform. Colorado Mestizo Dancers believes in the preservation of the Mexican culture. It addresses this through practice and presentation of the beautiful art of Mexican folk dancing. With traditional costumes and traditional music from several regions of Mexico’s revolutionary days of the 1800’s. The members of the Colorado Mestizo Dancers express their pride in their culture and heritage.
