👻 AUDITION NOTICE 🎃

We are looking for Guest Dancers for our Halloween show!
Dancing in the Dark is an immersive dance performance through which the audience moves, haunted-house style! Each performer is part of a short solo/duet/trio act that runs each time the audience moves through their section. Rehearsals and performances are paid. All styles welcome!

🗓Performance Dates and Information:
October 23, from 3:30-9:15pm (includes dress rehearsal)
October 24, from 6-9:15pm
October 25, from 12-3:15pm
October 30, from 6-9:15pm
October 31, from 12-3:15pm
Possible additional performance on Nov 1 from 12-3:15pm, depending on ticket sales of other shows.

📍Performance Location: The People's Building, 9995 E Colfax Ave, Aurora

👻Rehearsals:
Sundays, Oct 11 and 18, from 5-8pm (location TBD)

🎃How to audition:
1. Send an email to [email protected] to let us know you're interested,
2. Attend* one or more of our community classes from April 12 - May 17. Sundays, 4-5pm at MOVE! Dance Space (Let us know which class(es) you plan to attend in your initial email.)
3. We will send you an email after May 17 to let you know if you've been accepted!

*if attending in person is not an option, we will accept a video audition, please inquire for more details about the video audition at [email protected].

Are you a Colorado-based choreographer or small professional dance company looking for an affordable way to showcase your work? Convergence is a unique opportunity to present your choreography on stage, connect with new audiences, and share resources with fellow artists.

💚 Who Can Apply?
- Independent choreographers
- Dance companies of any size and style
- Emerging & established artists
(all choreographers and dancers must be a 18+ and at a professional-level)

Since 2015, Convergence has provided a cost-sharing platform for dance artists, with all past participants receiving a return on their investment. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting community building show!
