The last "Community Cares; Community Dinner" of 2020 will be this Thursday December 17th.
Pick up an early Holiday Dinner to go between 4PM and 6PM.
$5 buys you dinner, $10 gives a meal to someone in need.

In these uncertain times, being a good neighbor goes a long way.
We at Washington Street Community Center (WSCC) are so proud to have been your neighbor for over 50 years. Being a good neighbor means living with others in a social community, or a “neighborhood.” People are what make a neighborhood a living community rather than just a group of buildings. Being a good neighbor helps make your neighborhood a better place to live; and we at Washington Street aim to be the best neighbor we can be.

As one of the last truly independent, non-governmental, non-denominational community centers left WSCC is really a special place; it is an inner-generational gathering place, a HUB for our community, and a resource for all.

Colorado Gives Day is December 8th!
As you think about your Colorado Gives Day, and you are looking for deserving non-profits please consider the Washington Street Community Center.
We have been here serving the community all year, as we have been since 1967. We welcomed students back in person in mid-May and we have not closed since. We are here, and we plan to keep being here for our families.
We know what we mean to our community and our organization honors our continuing commitment to strengthen and revitalize the “neighbor helping neighbor” concept in an increasingly diverse society.
As one of the last truly independent, non-governmental, non-denominational community centers left WSCC is really a special place; it is an inner-generational gathering place, a HUB for our community, and a resource for all.
