ULFC recruits, cultivates, invests in, activates African American excellence to generate greater community health and prosperity.

ULF Connect is a 10 month program that consist of formal workshops, panel discussions, and events all designed to help participants become effective, well rounded, socially responsible and influential leaders. The curriculum is divided into four sections: Leadership, Business, Politics and Community Service. Each section/module is 3-4 classes in length and are taught in succession. In addition to the formal classes, we strive to help participants expand their social capital by opening doors to events and environments they would not otherwise have been exposed. Classes start in February and graduation is in November each year.

Leadership is not simply about your title, position, or professional accomplishments. It is about knowing who you are, understanding how you show up for others, building authentic relationships, and using your influence to create opportunities for your community.

The Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado develops leaders from the inside out.

ULFC Connect is a transformational leadership experience created for professionals who are ready to grow personally, lead more intentionally, deepen their connection to community, and become part of a powerful village committed to helping Colorado’s Black community thrive.

This experience will challenge you, expand you, connect you, and remind you that your leadership is not only about where you are going. It is also about who you bring with you, how you serve, and what you leave behind.

If you are ready to invest in yourself, strengthen your leadership, and join a network of leaders committed to meaningful community impact, we invite you to apply for the 2027 ULFC Connect cohort.

Leadership starts within. Community makes it powerful.

Your values become visible in your decisions. Your leadership becomes visible in the lives you impact.

Thank you to Dr. Ryan Ross and the Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado for inviting me to speak with the ULF CONNECT fellows last night about purpose, accountability, and the responsibility of leadership.

Lead with conviction. Make room for others. Build something that continues to serve beyond you.
