Great job Colorado Youth Pipe Band members! CYPB took 3rd in QMM at Elizabeth Celtic Festival yesterday. Hats off to bagpiper, Nathanael (rising 8th grader), who did an amazing job in his first competition. Also a HUGE shout out to CYPB instructors, Evan and Charlie - this would not have happened yesterday without their time, expertise and support.

The Elizabeth Celtic Festival is this weekend at Casey Jones Park in Elizabeth, Colorado. The Colorado Youth Pipe Band is competing in Quick March Medley at 3:10pm on Saturday. Come and cheer them on!

Colorado Youth Pipe Band musicians, Carson, Uri and Zivah, played as riders rode to the top of Loveland Pass today in the Colorado Triple Bypass ride. Riders were greeted by the sounds of bagpipers and a snare drum as they reached 11,900 feet altitude and the Continental Divide. There was so much cheering and gratitude from the bikers who said things like “you know you are close to the top when you hear the bagpipes.” It was a fun gig but also challenging to play for 2.5 hours in the wind and at the altitude. These young musicians rocked it and are ready to do it again in 2027.
