BYLAWS
Article I – Name
This organization shall be knows as “Just Us.”
Article II – Purpose
To bring family and friends closer together by building better bonds through social interactions. The general board reserves the right to accept or reject application of a perspective applicant. The general board also reserves the right to place any member on probation or terminate membership for viol
ating the bylaws of the organization. Termination is inclusive of outlandish behavior, drunkenness, or illegal activities. Article IV – Dues and Fees
All members must pay dues regardless of attending a function or not. The first membership payment is due the 3rd Friday in April (April 15, 2011). The fiscal year for “Just Us” will begin from February to February of the following year. The first event will be held in May. We encourage everyone to make payments early in advance of the deadline (bi-weekly or monthly). The deadline is the 3rd Friday of every 3rd month fiscal quarter. Following are the deadline dates by fiscal quarter:
April 15, 2011 - April 20, 2012 - April 19, 2013
July 15, 2011 - July 20, 2012 - July 19, 2013
October 21, 2011 - October 19, 2010 - October 18, 2013
January 20, 2012 - January 18, 2013 - January 17, 2013, etc. The payment amount/range is based on per month/per quarter. The monthly fees do not include food, drinks or activities outside of the scheduled event unless otherwise noted. Amounts are subject to change.
$10.00 = Adults-12 years of age
$5.00 = 11-5 years of age
Free = 4 years of age - infants
Example:
Adult-12 yrs: Payment includes Feb, March, and April equaling $30.00 due 4/15/11
Ages 11-5: Payment includes Feb, March, and April equaling $15.00 due 4/15/11
The above example is the same for each month payment is due. All payments are inclusive of three months for each member, etc., adult or child. If dues are not made by the deadline, then the payment would need to start in the next quarter. Non-members will pay for the event fee separately from “Just Us” and pay their funds directly to the establishment. The deadlines for the dues are the 3rd Friday of the 3rd month in the fiscal quarter. Members who have not paid will be placed in poor standing and may be removed from the membership list and/or deemed an inactive member at a later date by the President or Vice President. Members may or may not be reinstated by the President or Vice President providing all dues are paid in full and the Governing Board has made an assessment of that member.
