This FASD Awareness Month, Illuminate Colorado joined one of our national affiliates, FASD United, and FASD advocates in Washington DC for FASD Hill Day. On this day, we worked alongside Colorado parent advocates to build awareness of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs) among Colorado’s Congressional offices and advocate for increased funding to address FASDs in Colorado and across the nation.

Family Connects Colorado officially turns 4 years old this month! 🎂🎊

4 years of impacting families, identifying urgent and emergent care needs during home visits, advocating for improved postpartum and newborn systems of care, collaborating across state agencies and healthcare systems to align efforts, supporting local public health and hospital sites with implementing this evidence-based model in Colorado...and we aren't stopping until every single postpartum family in Colorado has access to Family Connects!
