Tomchei Shabbat of Denver

Tomchei Shabbat of Denver Tomchei Shabbat of Denver provides kosher food for Jewish families in need in the Denver metro area. All administrative costs are donated and/or underwritten.

These provisions are specifically for Shabbat and Yom Tov meals. Families and individuals are referred, via local Rabbis, who make the sole determination as to need and duration of assistance. We provide both perishable and non-perishable food as well as other provisions for Jewish Holidays. Our administration is completely voluntary, through 'Gabbaim' who manage activities and volunteers who shop

and pack groceries each week. The majority of our revenue is from individual donations, including cash donations through 'pushkas' at area synagogues and stores, as well as the annual Purim “Misloach Manot” letter campaign. Tomchei Shabbat of Denver, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
