•A little different •
Our Pack meets together at every Den meeting, then breaks away within the same vacinity to work on individual achievements. This differs from the standard of meeting in small groups (dens) at different locations, and only meeting once a month as a whole Pack. Frankly, our Scouts are such good friends they w
ouldn't be able to wait a whole month in between visits with their buddies! Siblings are always welcome and considered part of our pack. They receive a red bragging vest, just like the ones we sew for the Scouts, and are rewarded with different patches and pins because they work hard too :)
•Good Deeds•
Our Scouts are kind hearted and good natured automatically. To support this, Leadership finds activitieThate Scouts can participate in on a reoccurring basis (such as the Little Free Libraries we construct and maintain), and activities that concern the longevity of the community they grow up in (stay tuned for our playground refurbishment project).
•Bugs and Stuff•
What would Scouts be without sticky fingers, hilarious jokes, bugs, power tools and dirt?! I have no idea. To this date our Pack has learned to care for our several hermit crabs and a small garden snake. We do tend to use Ms. Heather's, Mr. Lee's, and Grandpa's tools on a regular basis and make a fantastic mess while building something great. We are working on our Pinewood Derby right now. Visiting presenters, candy and science experiments are a must. Some of the activities we like to try and do regularly are hike, rockhound, fish and camp. As Leaders we enjoy the opportunity to be able to go home dirty after each meeting because it means the Scouts learned something and had fun with their friends. That is why we do everything we do for the Scouts. Come visit our Pack sometime.
