In 2026, SCRGP will launch the Sand Creek Greenway Assessment, the first corridor-wide ecological review in decades. This work will help us understand:
🌳 Where habitat needs restoration and care
💧How the creek is functioning — erosion, flow, water quality
Which plants can thrive now and in the future
🦊 How wildlife use through the corridor — and how to support healthy future populations
🚲 Where access and safety can improve while balancing recreation and wildlife needs
🪨 Which small and large projects will build long-term ecological resiliency

En 2026, SCRGP lanzará la Evaluación de la Vía Verde de Sand Creek, la primera revisión ecológica de todo el corredor en décadas. Este trabajo nos ayudará a comprender:
