Thank you to all who attended our spring Partner Convening on Friday! We highlighted the Regional Vision Demonstration Projects that Metro DNA funded with Denver Urban Gardens, Environmental Learning for Kids, Friends of the Front Range Wildlife Refuges, and Thorne Nature Experience. Next, Keystone Policy Center reviewed our Regional Vision for People and Nature, which was released early this year. We also heard from Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Great Outdoors Colorado on the Regional Partnership Initiative grant program, and what neighboring regional partnerships are doing with their implementation funds. The morning ended with breakout groups discussing the unique recreation and conservation challenges in the region and brainstorming potential projects.
We appreciate your support and look forward to an exciting year of exploring ways to implement the action plan in our Regional Vision!
