All too often, intention fails to translate into impact. But when the Jewish community unites around our shared goals, like protecting students from discrimination, we can achieve great things.

HB 26-1141 is exactly that. By clarifying schools’ obligations and strengthening Title VI procedures, accountability, and transparency, HB 26-1141 creates stronger pathways for addressing antisemitism and other forms of discrimination in Colorado schools.

By bringing together the subject-matter expertise of Jewish organizations with the relationships we've built with legislators and allies, we helped turn a shared priority into strong public policy.

The June 1, 2025 antisemitic firebombing of the Boulder Run for Their Lives group caused deep pain and anxiety across our community. In the wake of today's update in the case, Jewish community leaders across Colorado have come together to issue this joint statement.

Most importantly, we continue to stand with the victims and their loved ones. We remain committed to supporting their healing, honoring their experience, and strengthening the safety & resilience of our community.
