Connecting & supporting the residents and businesses of Denver’s Highland (LoHi) Neighborhood—Official Registered Neighborhood Organization (RNO).

Bounded by I-25, Speer Blvd., Federal Blvd. and 38th Avenue, the Highland neighborhood is home to more than 7,000 households. Comprised of residents, business owners, non-profit entity stakeholders and schools – Highland United Neighbors, Inc. (HUNI) represents the Highland neighborhood as a Registered Neighborhood Organization (RNO) to the City and County of Denver. As volunteers, we meet monthly

to discuss and work towards creating a unified voice for our neighborhood community. The HUNI Vision: “Highland United Neighbors, Inc. is a Registered Neighborhood Organization comprised of volunteers from the public, private and business sectors, committed to the mission of the Highland community and dedicated to furthering its goals.

Resource Directory for Highland's young entreprenuers.

We would like to celebrate and promote the young people in Highland who are starting their own ventures - window washing, lawn mowing, child care, pet sitting, dog walking - by building a resource directory.

This Weekend!
Celebrate Jeff Park @ Federal is back on Saturday, June 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. along 25th Avenue between Federal and Eliot. This free, family-friendly street festival will feature local vendors, food, live music from The Coveralls, and activities for all ages.

Bring your friends, family, and pups to celebrate the neighborhood together.

Online Feedback Forms Closing Sunday, May 31!

Online feedback forms on community-informed considerations will be open through Sunday! Thank you to everyone who has submitted feedback on the community-informed considerations. This feedback will be used to help draft ordinance language.

Once we have draft ordinance language, we will be coming back to you once again for your thoughts and feedback. As a reminder, these considerations came directly from our community outreach, and nothing is set in stone, we are here to work WITH you to help strengthen and empower RNOs.
