SENDRATARI RAMAYANA: a Balinese dance-drama

Magical golden deer, a monkey sidekick, and a quest to rescue a kidnapped princess! 

Based on the Sanskrit epic poem chronicling the journey of the ancient Indian prince Rama and his quest to rescue his wife Sita from the clutches of the ogre-king Ravana, Gamelan Tunas Mekar presents Sendratari Ramayana, a Balinese dance-drama.
