Japanese American Resource Center of Colorado-JARCC Keeping Heritage & Culture Alive! JARCC is a vibrant resource, preserving, educating, and communicating the evolving Japanese American experience in Colorado.

The Japanese American Resource Center of Colorado (JARCC @ Sakura Square) was formed in 2008 to fulfill a decades long dream of creating a place to celebrate and share the Japanese American experience in Colorado. Our mission is to preserve, educate and communicate this experience to ensure that future generations understand and appreciate the bravery and contributions of the Issei (1st Generation

), Nisei (2nd Generation), and their descendants in Colorado. But our legacy is also evolving with a new generation of immigrants from Japan and growing interest from those interested in Japan. Our challenge is to meet the needs of a changing and diverse community.

76th Annual Asian Food Bazaar

Simpson United Methodist Church’s 76th Annual Asian Food Bazaar is coming up on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with pick-up from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at 6001 Wolff Street in Arvada.

Dinner plates feature beef teriyaki, chow mein, and rice for $20, with additional favorites available like maki sushi rolls, inari sushi, California rolls, Spam musubi, baked manju, and ohagi.
