Reminder that our Specialties are coming up in August, two shows! One in the morning and the second after lunch makes for a fun day.

Our show committee has done a great job with trophies this year. At the morning show, we will be going high-tech with trackers and tech gadgets, which can be put on your dog, tack box, suitcase, spouse, or anything you might need to locate. For the second show, we've gone super practical with assorted storage containers. Who doesn’t have a stash of stuff you can’t part with but want to keep organized and clean? These are for you.

So about ten of us were at the RMSTC / Rocky Mountain Scottie Rescue fundraiser auction this last Sunday. We held a brief meeting, then stayed for their auction. This group does such a great job with the Scottie Rescue AND they are a nice group of people. It was a pleasure to join them and support the Rescue!

Not to keep tooting our own horn, but ....😉

A big round of thanks to our President Fran Reid-Sanden and Susan Olney for putting together 24 feet (three 8-foot tables worth) of raffle baskets and silent auction items for our Specialty. Everything from a basket of scotch, Scottie Christmas items, a pet stroller, dining vouchers.....they assembled a great assortment of items. The final numbers aren't in yet, but THANK YOU to all who bid and bought tickets! You helped make our show a success 🥰

We had great trophies. Show #1 was entirely artwork by Marion Krupp, nicely framed signed and numbered prints for the big wins down to sets of notecards for first in each class. The second show presented assorted kitchenware that had our etched color logo, really great.

Club Officers and Show Committee hosted our Sweeps Judge, Susan Jacobsen, and our first show regular judge Darle Heck to a great italian dinner Friday evening. Our second judge, Anne Barlow, was not able to join us.

Saturday after the group judging, Co-chair Annel Henderson and Vice President Charlie Gann hosted our (now famous) tailgate style pot-luck. It was a great time visiting with out out-of-town friends.

Well, its over.........whew!
Some got ribbons, some didn't, but all were winners for showing up. It was a lovely turnout of some beautiful dogs, the STCGD thanks all the exhibitors, especially those who traveled in for the show.
