NomoGaia is an independent, nonprofit, human rights organization that uses both data and qualitative field-based processes to determine the positive and negative impacts corporations have on human rights. These on-the-ground assessments clarify the duties of businesses to respect human rights where they operate. Our assessments have resulted in alterations in project design, labor standards, community development programs, and other actions which have promoted human rights. Our methodologies for Human Rights Assessment and case studies are transparent and publicly available to serve as guidance for socially responsible corporations, governments, academia and civil society.
