The measure seeks to advance a broad range of priorities affecting Veterans, caregivers, survivors, and military families, including improvements to health care, benefits, services, and support programs across the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

TREA is proud to share that the US House recently passed the Sharri Briley and Eric Edmundson Veterans Benefits Expansion Act.

Provided the US Senate follows suit, the bill would increase benefits by roughly $10,000 annually for receiving the highest levels of Special Monthly Compensation while also increasing support for surviving military spouses and families receiving Dependency and Indemnity Compensation, or DIC.
