Clan Scott Society A 501(c)(3) heritage organization dedicated to the preservation & history of the Scott borders clan. Who can join?

Any person meeting the following requirements:
• A member shall be eighteen years or older;
• May bear the surname Scott, or one of the following associated families (septs), however spelled: Buccleuch, Harden, Balwearie, Geddes, Laidlaw, Langlands, Napier, or a name originating from Roxburghshire or the middle Borders of Scotland or be directly connected by descent or marriage to such a name; or

• Have an interest in the heritage of the Middle March of the Borders of Scotland.
• Although the Clan Scott Society is based in the USA, members may reside anywhere in the world.
• Spouse and unmarried children under the age of 18 automatically become members.
