History came to life last week at the History Colorado Museum!

Our girls had the unique opportunity to experience the Freedom Plane National Tour, getting an up-close look at the documents that helped shape the United States. From the original engraving of the Declaration of Independence to the Articles of Association, the Treaty of Paris, and even a secret draft printing of the Constitution, they explored the stories behind our nation's founding.

The learning didn't stop there—at the Keota General Store exhibit, the girls stepped back in time to discover what daily life looked like for kids in Colorado more than a century ago—how they went to school, shopped, traveled, and spent their free time.

From founding documents to everyday life in early Colorado, it was a day filled with curiosity, discovery, and a deeper understanding of how we play a part in our history.

Yesterday, our eighth-grade Eureka! STEM Camp participants traded their Girls Inc. red for United blue at United Airlines’ Flight Training Center. ✈️

We spent the day exploring the largest flight training center in the world, learning about aviation careers, flight safety, and the countless STEM opportunities that keep the industry soaring—and, of course, how to barrel roll in a commercial airplane. From taking off in flight simulators from Houston and San Francisco to practicing emergency procedures and inflating life vests, every activity offered a hands-on look at what it takes to fly.

We also had the opportunity to hear from Girlboss Jonna McGrath, Vice President at United Airlines, who shared her career journey and reminded us that confidence, curiosity, and courage can take you farther than you ever imagined.
