There's something powerful about becoming the person you needed when you were a child, then showing up for children who need that same person today.

Our relationship with LA Unified School District is truly a special & dope 🫶🏿 Two of our current MiSTERs had the opportunity to return to their home district—not just as former students, but as examples of what’s possible.

While we came to recruit the next generation of Black male educators, we also came to speak life & possibility into hundreds of Black male students across the District.

Teaching is revolutionary. ✊🏾

This is what the future of education looks like. ❤️📚

Before the degree. Before their first classroom. Before anyone calls them “Mr.,” our MiSTERs are already showing up, building relationships, and making an impact.

Be who you needed when you were younger.

Puerto Rico was one for the books‼️ 🇵🇷🌴

The highlight of our MiSTERs' trip was spending time in Loíza with Mayor Julia Nazario, learning about the town's incredible history of African Diaspora and exploring ways to partner in support of local students. And of course MiSTERs love the kids and we had a dope time reading and making art projects with them.

Great conversations, new phenomenal connections, and memories we'll never forget. The work continues! 💙❤️🇵🇷

The Mayor and Superintendent pulled up to see MiSTER Magic in action!!

Huge moment as Denver Mayor Mike Johnston and Denver Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero visited Green Valley Elementary to support and celebrate our Call Me MiSTER alumni Jordan Puch & Christopher Livingston II. Proud of the impact these brothers are making every single day in the classroom.
