We’re excited to share that this year Bienvenidos Food Bank is an official charity partner of the Denver Colfax Marathon. With this partnership we hope to raise awareness for food insecurity and the resources we provide, and come together as a community to recognize our 50 years of Bienvenidos serving the north Denver community!

The Colfax Marathon is Denver’s largest running event and takes place May 16–17, 2026. There are several race options so that anyone—from walkers to experienced runners—can participate. Whether you run the marathon, join a relay team, jog the 5K, or walk with friends and family we’d love to have you on our team!

Register through raceroster (link in bio) and select “Bienvenidos Food Bank” as your charity partner while registering; or DM us if you would like more info. There is no fundraising minimum to run with us! If you have already registered for a race you can also add Bienvenidos as a charity partner retroactively.

Bienvenidos Food Bank has been helping neighbors in need for over 50 years. We're excited to open our doors in thanks for your continued support. This is a great opportunity to see our pantry, meet staff, board, and volunteers and learn more about how we serve families in our community.

Thank you to our incredible community!

This month we served more people than at any point in our 49-year history—30% more than our previous all-time high just last year. The disruption to SNAP benefits during the government shutdown has been incredibly difficult for many families, but thanks to you, we were able to meet the increased need and ensure everyone received the help they needed.

A special thank-you to our amazing volunteers, who went above and beyond to sort donations and assist every family who came to us for support. We are so grateful for you!
