Ever wanted to foster, but felt you can’t because of your schedule? We actually need temporary/short-term fosters now more than ever! If you’re willing to open your home for a short amount of time, giving a dog a place to sleep and be safe, please apply. If you’re an approved foster, please DM us.

Meet Koda 💛, Yuki 🤍, and Haru 🖤. Three adoptable puppies who were strays that were dumped in southern Texas. They are around 4 months old and super sweet. They have arrived in Colorado and are adoptable!!

Astro is the last pup from his litter still looking for his happily ever after. 🥹 His mama and three siblings have all found their forever families, and now it’s Astro’s turn! ❤️

He’s doing great at his foster home but he would love a permanent home!

Here’s more about Astro:

🐾 Chihuahua mix puppy, about 4.5 months old
🎾 Playful + loves a good game of fetch
🛋️ Professional cuddler & expert nap buddy
🚶‍♂️ An absolute dream on walks
🏡 Mostly potty trained
❤️ Happiest wherever his people are

Astro is the perfect mix of fun and snuggles. He’ll happily play fetch with you, then curl up beside you on the couch for a cozy nap. He really just wants to be your little shadow and be part of a family of his own. 🥰

This is an emergency! FOSTER NEEDED TOMORROW!!!

Maple arrives tomorrow (Saturday) at 1:30 and her foster fell through. She has nowhere to go!😣😣

Maple is around a year old and is a super easy, loving dog. She does great with other dogs and kids! She is the perfect house guest and just needs a temp from tomorrow til Thursday.

Foster found! Adopters needed!

Denver Fosters (or foster to adopters!) needed for three puppies beginning THIS SATURDAY 9/26!!! They do not need to go together. They’re around 4 months old and have had all their shots.

Yuki and Koda are boys. Haru, the little black and white baby is a girl. Everyone is social and really sweet. Great with other dogs (cats/kids unknown, but they are just puppies).

Who can help them?! All foster supplies are provided by us.

Fosters found! Adopters wanted!🩷

Colorado fosters or adopters needed for these three babies who have the opportunity to come to Colorado this weekend! Who can help a pup get their freedom ticket to Colorado?!

1️⃣ Lady (female) needs a foster (or foster to adopt) beginning Sunday 9/27. She is an owner surrender (at no fault of her own!!). Loves kids, dogs and water. She is now spayed and fully vetted.

2️⃣ Marble (female) needs a foster (or foster to adopt) beginning 9/27. Owner surrender at no fault of her own. Loves everyone and is very social. She is now spayed and fully vetted.

3️⃣ Baby Blue (male) needs a foster (or foster to adopt) beginning 9/27). Was found dumped in the middle of nowhere all alone by a bunch of trash ☹️ Great with everyone and typical happy go lucky 3mo (ish) puppy.

URGENT: Foster Needed starting asap for sweet Penelope in Denver! She unfortunately is being returned to us a year after being adopted, for no fault of her own 😢

Meet Penelope! An Active Companion with A Sweet Personality💕

If your lifestyle includes morning runs, outdoor exploration, and a dog who enjoys curling up on the couch afterward, Penelope is ready to fit right in. At 18 months old, this Cattle Dog mix offers a strong blend of athletic capability and affection.
Penelope approaches each day with steady optimism. She is a natural explorer who loves to hit the trails for a run, but she is also content spending her afternoons keeping watch out the front window or settling in for quiet cuddle sessions. Because she is food-motivated and has good recall, teaching her new routines and commands is straightforward.

Her Dream Home: Penelope thrives on daily connection and needs an active family who will make her a regular part of their activities. She does great with young kids, other dogs and loves to be outside! A household with a fenced backyard would suit her best!

Just wanted to give a quick update on Juan (now Duke) a sweet scared boy that was owner surrendered to a shelter in TX and found himself listed for euthanasia soon after. Poor guy was petrified in his kennel and was shaking 🥹 The shelter can be a scary place with all the barking, smells, loud noises etc and being petrified didn’t make him a great candidate for adoption 😞

We tagged him and renamed him Duke 🤴 He will be coming to Colorado very soon and will be looking for his forever home. He’s about 4yrs old, has been very sweet but shy, and does well with other dogs. He is heartworm positive (not contagious, rescue will cover treatment) and we will be needing donations to help cover his treatment 🙏

He does have a foster home lined up, thanks to a new foster stepping up 💪 We can’t say yes to dogs without having fosters available- it quite literally saves lives 💓

We’ll post more when he arrives from TX later this month. Thank you to everyone that shared his post and reached out for say they could help. Welcome to the good life, Duke!

Happy Birthday to Up Pup and Away’s founder, Steph!!! 🩵

She is the face behind this rescue and one of the most selfless people you will ever meet. She has worked tirelessly since Up Pup was established to find every animal a safe, loving home and pull as many animals off the streets and euth lists as possible. Rescue is very tough and exhausting, yet Steph continues to show up for others and these sweet animals through it all. She has a heart of gold and all who have met her or know her are better because of that.

Let’s all take a moment to show her some love and thank her for all of her hard work, dedication, and love she pours into these animals and this rescue 🐶🐾🐱
