Colorado Woodworkers Guild The Colorado Woodworkers Guild is a non profit organization dedicated to all things woodworking

Colorado Woodworkers Guild was formed by a group of professional woodworkers around August of 1980. It has since expanded to include both professional and hobbyist and aspiring woodworkers. We meet monthly on the 3rd tuesday from 6:30-8:30pm in the basement of Rockler Woodworking and Hardware (One block north of Yale, between US Bank and O'Reilly Auto parts.) 2553 S Colorado Blvd - Suite 108 Denver, CO 80222

We had 8 entries for S&T at the February 17th 2026 CWG meeting
Cary showed off an Ash Bowl finished in Walnut oil (filled with cookies).
Joe showed a Bandsaw Box made from a block of Birch , stained with Minwax “gunstock” stain and finished with Satin Urethane.
Jim Showed us a Cutting Board of Walnut, Maple and an unknown wood and finished with Cutting Board Oil
Don had a Salt and Pepper set turned from Walnut and finished in Walnut oil.
Marty brought an End Table made of Cherry and Curly Maple and finished in Tung Oil.
Jerry had two boxes he made for the 2026 Cwg Christmas gifts. One of Teak and another of Oak. Both finished in Shellac.
Jonathan showed off a “Negative Space Furnature Object” made of White Oak and Peruvian Walnut, finished with Shellac and Wax. This was a follup to the talk he gave in November.
Matt presented a Lamp made of English Walnut and finished with Yorkshire Paste and Shellac.

At the January 2026 Meeting we had six entries from 5 members
Don showed us a turned box and a hollowed object contains a turned object.
Jesse showed us a cabinet made from recycled material using minimal tools.
Justin showed us a mallet.
Larry showed off a cheese board made from scraps.
Sam showed off several pens/pencils he turned over the holidays.
