We are devastated by the losses in our community and our hearts go out to those who lost homes and pets in this tragic wildfire. This is a time when we must come together and support our fellow community members. We wanted to share some wonderful resources to help those impacted by the fires. We will continue to pass along any other resources as we find them.
If you or anyone you know lost your home, your car, or anything else, and can use vehicle support, call or email Colorado CarShare. They are providing those impacted with a free car share membership and credit to help.
For those who were financially impacted by the fires, Pet Menders has financial assistance available through Lucy's Pet Rescue for Fire Victims fund. If you or someone you know needs help paying for your pet's medical needs, please contact us at 303-494-0840 for more information.
If you have a missing pet as a result of the Marshall and Middle Fork Fires, please take the following steps:
1. Fill out this Animal Rescue Request Form provided by the Boulder Office of Emergency Management. https://survey123.arcgis.com/.../add48738c8fa4ace846f3a9e.
2. Place a call to the Boulder County Public Information Call Center at
303-413-7730.
3. Finally, we recommend taking a few minutes to fill out a Lost Report for your pet with Longmont Humane Society, Boulder Valley Humane Society, and Larimer Humane Society. Links below:
