🎬🍕 Clinical & Counseling Club x Psi Chi Movie Night 🍿🥤

Join us for a screening of The Love Witch on Tuesday, April 28 — the movie starts at 4 PM!

📍 Plaza 248 | 3:45–6:30

🍕 Pizza, popcorn, and drinks will be provided.

After the movie, stay to discuss the psychological themes of the film and build community care bags to donate to local community members through Denver!

We would also love donations of:

- Personal hygiene items such as:
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Mouthwash
- Floss/picks
- Hairbrushes
- Combs
- Hair picks
- Do-rags, bonnets, bandanas, hats
- Socks
- Underwear - boxers, briefs, bikini, etc
- Non-perishable foods such as
- Water
- Electrolytes - gatorade, dry packets, coconut water, etc
- Granola bars
- Protein bars
- Nuts/Trail Mix
- Hydration packets - chia, applesauce, fruit, etc
- Jerky/Meat Sticks
- Protein Powders
- Ready to eat packets (think things that don’t *need* heat necessarily) - “walking tamales,” beans, curries, pastas, etc
- Packaged snacks - chips, crackers, cookies, cereal cups, etc

Bring a friend and come hang out + build community!

Want to learn what human trafficking is and how to identify the signs of it? This Thursday, Psi Chi welcomes The Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking for an Anti‑Human Trafficking 101 training — and you can earn a certificate! ✅🧠💙

FEBRUARY

🎮 Game Night — Tue, Feb 24 | 5–7 PM | PL-248

- Free pizza, games, and good vibes. Come hang out!

MARCH

📚 Anti Human Trafficking 101 — Thu, Mar 12 | 3:30–5:30 PM | PL-238

- Learn what human trafficking is, how to identify signs, and earn a certificate.

👔 Professional Clothing Drive — Mar 2–19 | Every day | Plaza (hall near the Psych Dept)

- Donate or “shop” for professional attire and get presentation-ready.

APRIL

🎓 Psi Chi Induction — Thu, Apr 9 | 6–8 PM | Tivoli 440/540 (Adirondacks)

- Dinner + ceremony to welcome our newest members and celebrate the year.

🎬 Movie Night w/ CCC — Tue, Apr 28 | 3:30–5:30 PM | PL-248

- In partnership with the Clinical & Counseling Club. Movie TBD, keep an eye out for voting!

There WILL be a virtual option for folks not on campus to join in on the fun 😎

As we begin this new semester, let’s take a look back at the wonderful things we did as a Psi Chi chapter in the fall!!!

May 21 - we celebrated the end of Spring 2025 with a picnic!

September 21st - we partnered with and to host a su***de prevention training.

October 1st - we attended to psychology department’s open house!

October 4th - we volunteered with for their fundraiser for

October 22nd - we were joined by Dr. Katherine Hill for her infamous Psychology of Zombies lecture!

October 28th - we celebrated Halloween by learning its history, painting pumpkins, and psychoanalyzing The Silence of the Lambs!

November 18th & December 2nd - we were joined by Dr. A.J. Alejano-Steele from the department of health professions for Roadrunners Reimagine Possible, a.k.a. design your life!!

We are so grateful for such an amazing semester and are looking forward to this coming semester!
