What do you see?? 👀
⁣
The spider-tailed horned viper (Pseudocerastes urarachnoides) from Western Iran is a rare specialist. This ambush predator has a highly adapted tail that looks like a spider. The snake will sit very still and wave its tail back and forth to imitate a spider; an enticing possible snack for hungry yet unlucky, prey.

“A juvenile golden snub-nosed monkey (Rhinopithecus roxellana) looks straight down the camera in Central China. These unusual-looking Old World monkeys are survivors! Battling freezing temperatures and a scarcity of food throughout the winter months, they've learned to thrive in the mountainous regions of central and southwestern China.⁣” - - The Sun

Hi there cutie! 🦊⁣
⁣
“The Sun⁣ Arctic fox (Vulpes lagopus) pup looks straight at camera on Karrak Lake, Canada. When you think of Arctic foxes, it's common to picture them with stark white coats, which they do have in winter. However, when pups and during the spring and summer months, they are more similar to this brownish-grey tone, which helps them blend into the tundra.⁣”

Such neat little creatures!! 🐒⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
"Whilst photographing tigers in India’s Bandhavgarh National Park, it was impossible to pass by an Indian grey langur troop, especially if they had infants among them.⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
"Seeing repeatable behaviour makes it so much easier to capture and so, whilst these youngsters were leaping playfully from branch to branch we were able to position ourselves appropriately to capture the dramatic action."⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
A Perfect Planet tells the story of Earth's power and fragility. Life on Earth is solar powered, with every single part of the Earth's surface getting 4,380 hours of sunlight a year. In areas of the world where the sun’s energy is not equally shared, animals have to make extreme adaptions to survive in the most difficult of environments.⁣⁣
